Tryall Club Temporary Membership Fee

Tryall is a private club whose members may use all Club facilities and programs at no extra charge, with the exception of golf. Amenities include tennis, beach, water sports, the fully equipped gym, the Kids club, Great House afternoon tea and special events.

Beginning January 1, 2009, the Tryall Club now requires all villa and condo guests to become members during their stay via a Temporary Membership fee of US$100 per week for each guest 18 or older, or US$20 per day per person for stays of less than seven days (inclusive of tax). This policy applies to bookings after September 1, 2008.

Plan to pay your Temporary Membership Fee locally at the Front Desk in theGreat House when you register. Credit cards are accepted. You wil be given a temporary membership card to enable your access to Club facilities.

Budgeting for Your Anticipation Villa Vacation

Check in time is 3pm and check out is 12 noon.  If no other guests are scheduled to occupy the villa you are welcome to check in early or check out as late as you wish.

Grocery/Meal Budget:
Typical grocery budget is $45-$55 per adult per day and $25 per day for children. These estimates may vary depending on menus and market prices.
If shrimp, lobster, imported beef or large quantities of other food items are requested then these estimates will increase.

Your chef will pre-purchase your first few meals, pantry staples, soft drinks, bottled water and small starter bar (few bottles of Red Stripe, moderately priced wine and rum). Additional alcohol can be purchased at your request or by you directly from the Tryall Commissary, which of course will increase your budget.

If you wish to go to the supermarket with your chef you are welcome to do so. Otherwise, you can pre-select menu choices for the week and the chef can shop for you. At the end of the week, the chef will present receipts and reconcile your account. These items can be purchased directly from Tryall Commissary.

If you wish for menu items to be purchased from the local supermarkets using your credit card, you will need to accompany the chef. If you prefer to just relax and let the chef do the shopping then you will need to give the chef the cash to purchase the menu items. Please be advised that there is a transportation fee of $60.00 US dollars for the trip to MegaMart.
Roadside vendors and markets that sell fresh fruits and vegetable require cash US or Jamaican dollars are accepted.

Our chef is happy to prepare separate meals for children and serve them prior to adult’s dinner hour.  Children under the age six require a nanny. Employment of a nanny enables best of both worlds, carefree parents with children being cared for nearby. Tryall nannies are well trained, excellent swimmers and certified in CPR training. We provide cribs and high chairs upon request. The cost of is $10.00 US per night for one crib and $5.00 US per day for one high chair.

Staff Gratuities:
The tipping schedule is $40.00 US per occupied bedroom per evening. Any additional occupancy is $20.00 US per person. Plan to pay gratuities in cash. Both US or Jamaican Dollars are accepted.

Payment, Cancellation and Damage Policy

A 25% deposit confirms a reservation. Balance is due 60 days prior to travel. No refunds or cancellations can be made within 60 days prior to scheduled occupancy. For cancellations made after 60 days prior to scheduled occupancy, a full refund will be made, minus a 10% cancellation fee.%

A $500 damage deposit is required and will be refunded promptly upon your return home, if no damage occurs during your stay.

Policies for the Christmas and New Year's weeks differ. A 50% deposit confirms your reservation. Balance is due 120 days prior to travel. No refunds will be made for cancellations made within 120 days prior to scheduled occupancy. For cancellations made more than 120 days prior to scheduled occupancy we will refund all depostis minus a 10% cancellation fee.
